As an antioxidant, vitamin C helps to reduce inflammation. A 2008 study showed a significant decrease in serum LDL cholesterol and tryglyceride concentrations with the supplementation of at least 500mg/d of vitamin C.

Some good sources of vitamin C include:

citrus fruits such as oranges, grapefruit, lemons and limes
kiwi
papaya
strawberries
pineapple
cantaloupe
sweet bell peppers – green or red
